Summery color delights for the DiaStar Original Skeleton

Rado welcomes summer with a trio of new, limited-edition versions of the popular DiaStar Original Skeleton. Each of the three reinterpreted models frames the skeletonized movement with fresh, cheerful colors – perfect for the time of year.

The convex oval bezel made of Rado's signature Ceramos™ meets color-contrasting ring-shaped dials and rubber straps – a design that gives this iconic Rado watch summery energy.

The first DiaStar Original set new standards with its unusual shape and striking design. This same innovative spirit is now expressed in three fascinating new interpretations:

A trilogy of expressive designs

The new blue DiaStar Original Skeleton kicks things off, featuring a Ceramos™ bezel combined with a blue dial ring and a silver-printed minute track.

This creates fascinating rings around rhodium-colored hour and minute hands as well as floating indices, all accentuated with yellow Super-LumiNova®.

A black seconds hand and a vibrant blue rubber strap complete the captivating visual dialogue. Rado's reputation for compelling contemporary design is impressively confirmed with this new green edition.

Contrasting green and gold-colored elements combine to create a striking chromatic statement: The Ceramos™ bezel is gold-colored PVD coated.

The yellow gold-colored minute and hour hands and floating indices with bright red Super-LumiNova® accents create a striking contrast to the ring-shaped dial and green rubber strap.

The third interpretation is also characterized by powerful, contrasting colors. A Ceramos™ bezel with a radially brushed finish frames the dial with a red minute ring and silver-colored minute track.

The rhodium-plated hour and minute hands and floating indices with vibrant green accents stand out effectively against this backdrop, complemented by a black second hand. A bright red rubber strap underscores this cheerful display of summery colors.

The Art of Skeletonisation

The trio of DiaStar Original Skeleton models is powered by the in-house Rado caliber R808, an automatic movement with 25 jewels, three hands, Nivachron™ balance spring and a power reserve of 80 hours.

The artful skeletonization offers fascinating insights into the mechanics in motion and invites an emotional connection with the heart of the watch.

The stainless steel case back features a special engraving that guarantees exclusivity for discerning collectors: Limited Edition, One Out of 555.
