An internal analysis of anonymized usage data from the German-language dating platform Herzwandler suggests an interesting trend: The highest level of commitment in online dating is apparently not found in the youngest age groups, but often only from the mid-40s onwards.
Several thousand interactions, registrations, and membership histories from the year 2026 were analyzed. Both organic registrations and users who became aware of the platform through advertisements were taken into account.
